The School and Community Association's (SCA) primary purpose is to
support, enrich and enhance the functions of the Cedar Mountain School in fulfilling its mission which is to provide a comprehensive,
well-rounded education to the children it serves. The SCA serves as an avenue of communication between home and school.
It is also a means by which parents/guardians can assist the school in achieving their goals related to our children.
The officers and committee chairpersons are in communication with the
principal and teachers. Monthly meetings are held the second Thursday of every month in the cafeteria at 9:30 AM (unless otherwise noted).
If your child's education is to be a worthwhile endeavor, it is
important that the school and parents work together in the best interest of the child. Talk with your child about their school program and activities.
Show your interest in his/her progress on a regular basis. Make every effort to attend parent/guardian teacher conferences. Keep current with regard
to your child's classroom performance and ongoing academic needs. Maintain high standards for your child and help them achieve at that level.
Consider volunteering some of your time in assisting the SCA.
