Dear Parents/Guardians:
Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year! We are excited to introduce ourselves as Glen Meadow Middle School’s administrative team. As the building’s Principal and Assistant Principal, we come with great experiences in curriculum development, instructional delivery, and student management. As we embark upon the beginning of a new school year, we are looking forward to getting to know our students and being facilitators of the learning process.
Displayed in the front lobby is the Glen Meadow mission statement that reads:
Glen Meadow Middle School provides a positive atmosphere that emphasizes the value of education and challenges students to set high expectations and make responsible decisions.
This mission statement underpins the premise of the “Glen Meadow Way”

- Reach your 100%...
…and will be a focus of our school year. Glen Meadow provides an environment that enhances students intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. Our dedicated teachers work collaboratively to ensure that the individual and diverse needs of students are met through an academically rigorous and differentiated instructional program.
There are many clubs, organizations, and sports for your students to become involved in at Glen Meadow; we encourage all students to participate in one or more of the following:

In addition to these activities, we offer a variety of intramural and interscholastic sports.
The School and Community Association is the backbone of our school; its members provide many of the assemblies and special activities at Glen Meadow—for this, we are grateful. We encourage you to become a member and attend SCA meetings held on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30 in the library.
We look forward to an exciting 2010-2011 school year and are confident that with your support, coupled with our high expectations, innovative strategies, and dedicated faculty and staff, every child will succeed at Glen Meadow Middle School. We pledge to give you our personal best throughout the year. We are looking forward to meeting you and working with you and your family.
