Grade 7: 30-70 minutes
Grade 8: 30-90 minutes
Occasionally, less than the minimum time noted may be spent on homework. However, this will be a rare occurrence. There will, however, be other times when special projects, book reports, test preparation, or just additional review work will necessitate additional time. In addition to assigned homework, students should be encouraged to spend 30-45 minutes per night reading for pleasure. This time, like study time, should be free of all distractions such as TV, stereo, and the telephone. Students can expect homework on a daily basis as per guidelines noted in the handbook.

LATE HOMEWORK POLICY
Late homework will be accepted over a three-day period at which time the grade will be decreased by a certain percentage determined by the classroom teacher. After three days a grade of zero will be given.
