Intramurals - Interscholastic Events
Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of after-school programs. They serve to broaden interest and encourage development of a well-rounded student. The information regarding these activities (dates, times, etc.) will be posted during the school year.
Below are just some of the upcoming activities offered at LHMS:

Variety Show
All Variety Show auditions and rehearsals are held after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the months prior to the show. Once cast, crew, and acts are selected, a definitive rehearsal schedule will be generated. Occasionally, rehearsal is extended to approximately 6:00pm, when students would need to be picked up by a parent.

Interscholastic Wrestling
Grades five to eight matches from the first week of November through mid-February on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until 4:30pm. The team is selected following practices, and competes with neighboring school districts. Physical examinations and parent permission are required for all candidates. Students who are involved in interscholastic activities will be shuttled to the high school to ride the high school activity buses because practices are held at the high school and they depart at a time later than middle school activity buses. Matches may be scheduled for any day of the week.
