Lounsberry Hollow Middle School houses fifth-and sixth-grade students. Grade 5 has 17 sections, and grade 6 has 17 sections, for a total of 34 grade level classrooms. LHMS has a present enrollment of 900 students.

Students at Lounsberry Hollow Middle School receive mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies instruction. In addition, students are exposed to the related arts of music (vocal, instrumental, orchestra, and band), art, family & consumer science, technology education, computer education, physical education, health, and world language. Remediation in the areas of math, language arts, and speech is provided for those students in need of such services. Classified students may also receive remediation in all academic areas.
