Language Arts Information

Listed below are some general classroom policies that may be helpful.

Please contact me through the e-mail address above or by calling the school at 973-764-8745.  At the voice prompt hit, 7 to get to personal mailboxes, and then dial 9286 for me.

 When your child is absent three days, you may contact the school or your child’s homeroom teacher on the third day to request assignments.  In this way, your child will not be overwhelmed upon returning to school. 

 If your family will be on vacation or an unexpected extended absence becomes necessary throughout the school year, we will gladly gather the assignments your child will miss.  A few days will be necessary for all of your child’s teachers to have time to get everything together. 

 It is expected that all students come to school prepared with completed homework, assignment pad, paper, pencils, and required textbooks.  All textbooks should be covered.

 If a student will miss my class(es), due to instrumental lessons or enrichment activities,   they are responsible for getting it to class via another student and to also find out what they have missed, so it can be completed it on time.
