All proof of residency forms need to be presented at our board office (click here for directions). New Jersey law requires proof of residency, in order to allow the registration of students into the Vernon School District. The State specifies in code, the various forms of documentation that serve as this proof of residency. At least two forms of documentation are required. Some typical forms that are considered acceptable include:
Utility Bill, Drivers License, Property Tax Bill, Rental Lease, also the child’s birth certificate must be presented at the Board of Education office at the time of registration.
After the above has been completed, you will be directed to the appropriate school. All Schools require the following documents:
