Ms. Weber’s class is having so much fun learning about butterflies and spring. They are working on fine motor skills to create a spring scene puppet butterfly craft using paper plates, pompoms, popsicle sticks, paint, glue, clothespins, and scissors.
Ms. Lombardi’s class is having fun learning about responsibility and pet care!

Mrs. Cook’s preschool class is learning new concepts of pure restaurant theme. Children are practicing their expressive language skills and writing skills as they place and take orders at the pretend diner in class.
Mrs. Lombardi’s Class is having a blast learning the pure Restaurant theme as well!
Mrs. Bubendorf’s class has been loving exploring their restaurant theme! They have been busy making pizzas and pasta dishes, and taking orders at our new Drive-Thru!
Mrs. Lombardi’s class is doing math collections with a twist! Counting while categorizing things that go on land, in the water, or in the air and playing an attribute game sorting by color and shape!
Using our best speech and language skills as we learn about the restaurant theme with Mrs. Aimee!

Miss Weber’s class crafted peace signs with watercolor paint, a paper plate, and scotch tape in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Miss Weber’s class enjoyed an obstacle course that focused on many different skills including gross motor, fine motor, bilateral correlation, hand-eye coordination, proprioception, and more.

Early Dismissal– Thursday, December 22nd- AM Preschool 9:35-11:35, PM Preschool 11:30-1:30
School Closed– Friday, December 23rd- January 2nd. School resumes January 3rd.
Tuition: payments are due by January 1st.
Toy Drive -Thank you to everyone that contributed to the Operation toy Train toys for tots drive. Thank you to the local Cub Scout Lucas Fish from Pack 183 for collecting our toys to place on the train!
Pajama Drive: Thank you everyone for donating to our Pajama Drive, we have been able to donate around 30 pairs of pajamas. We will be celebrating with a pajama day on December 22nd!

The Walnut Ridge Community had a great out-poor giving with our Pajama Drive. Students and families donated over 30 pajamas. The Walnut Ridge School participates in the Scholastic Pajama Drive which helps donate pajamas and books to regional families in need.
We had a wonderful turn out a Gobbling good time during our Thanksgiving sing-a-long on November 22nd. Thank you to our faculty and staff for all of the efforts you put forth working with our wonderful students and thank you to all of the family members that were able to come out and visit.
Mrs. Cook’s Class is working on shape recognition by adding attribute shapes to their light table gingerbread people!
Students in Mrs. Lombardi’s class have learned how to be the customer and employee during our Grocery Store theme! They learned how to welcome customers, take their orders, and check in new inventory. They have also learned how to sort produce along with new vocabulary.
