Lorax Team: First-grade students Cormac, Ivana, Harrison, Ethan, Nicholas, and Olivia who make up the “Lorax Team” planted several evergreens around the campus of Cedar Mountain. They proudly cleared the ground and carefully planted and tamped down the soil to ensure that our evergreens will someday be majestic trees. In the coming weeks, the First-Grade Lorax Team will be planting flowers around our schoolyard to brighten our gardens. The SCA received some very generous gift cards from Walmart, Lowes, and Home Depot to purchase the flowers for our school.

Mother’s Day Planting: Thank you to the SCA for providing our students with a Mother’s Day planting project. All students planted a flower that they will give to their mother or other special person this weekend.

School Spirit Day: Thursday, May 17: Our School is Groovy, wear tie-dye OR school colors!

Fun Day: First-Grade: Tuesday, May 22 and Kindergarten: Wednesday, May 23. Thank you to Miss Michele Gonnelli, Physical Education teacher for organizing this event for our school.
