When one walks in this classroom you get such a wonderful feeling, you will immediately see that all students are thoroughly engaged and love being in this classroom! Lorax Team: First-grade students Cormac, Ivana, Harrison, Ethan, Nicholas, and Olivia who make up the “Lorax Team” planted several evergreens around the campus of Cedar Mountain. They proudly cleared the ground and carefully planted and tamped down the soil to ensure that our evergreens will someday be majestic trees. In the coming weeks, the First-Grade Lorax Team will be planting flowers around our schoolyard to brighten our gardens. The SCA received some very generous gift cards from Walmart, Lowes, and Home Depot to purchase the flowers for our school.
