Good Morning Walnut Ridge Family,

On this day — May 8, 2018, let me begin by saying

to all of our wonderful teachers. We have a fabulous school here at Walnut Ridge and it is because of the work of the teachers, with the help of the aides and rest of the staff. Please find a moment this week to thank you child(ren)’s teacher for all they do each and every day!

In other news…

1) This Thursday is our Mothers’ Day Tea!

We will have two sessions — AM (11:15 – 12:00) and PM (2:30 – 3:15) and it will take place in our All Purpose Room. There will be crafts, refreshments, and a whole lot of LOVE! All moms, grandmothers, aunts, and any person who plays a “mom” role in on of our student’s life is welcome. Please RSVP ASAP if you have not already by emailing Ms. DiCarlo – It is important to know who is coming so that we can prepare visitor passes. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the time of the event to leave enough time to receive your visitor pass.

2) May 24th is PreSchool Fun Day

CLICK HERE to see the link to the flyer that you should have already received in your child(ren)’s folder. No need to RSVP to this event since it will be outside, but parent/guardians are still very much invited to attend and watch. We are also looking for some help with food contributions, so please go to the link embedded within the flyer to access our Sign-up Genius page.

3) Fathers’ Day Painting Party

Dads, grandfathers, uncles, or any special “dad” person in the life of one of our students is welcome! There will be crafts, refreshments, and lots of fun!

Please save the date for Friday, June 15 from 5pm – 8pm. We will be having a Moving Up Ceremony in the backyard of Walnut Ridge for ALL our Walnut Ridge students.
