New Superintendent Introduction

I am pleased to introduce myself as the Vernon Township School District Superintendent. Over the last nine years, I served the Vernon community as Director of Math and Science, Assistant Superintendent, and Acting Superintendent. Before coming to Vernon, I taught mathematics for about nineteen years, thirteen of those as a supervisor/teacher at a nearby high school. I grew up in Vernon Township and raised my family in Vernon. My wife is a teacher in the district, and my daughter and son were educated in our school system.

I plan to optimize resources to provide our students with a safe, engaging, inclusive, challenging, and nurturing environment. The education and various opportunities in our school system allow students to explore their interests and passions as they set goals beyond school. I understand the importance of a high-quality education system in our community and look forward to supporting all stakeholders to help reach our fullest potential.
