RHPS Principal’s Blog – May, 2018

It is hard to believe that we are moving into the Memorial Day weekend with the summer like weather of June soon to follow. The 2017 – 2018 school year has been extremely rewarding and successful for everyone; and our outstanding instructional staff has provided many meaningful learning experiences and activities for your children. We are very thankful to the Rolling Hills SCA for all their help and efforts in providing our students with a variety fun learning experiences, and as parents/guardians your support and encouragement have been invaluable to our student’s educational success and growth.

As we move toward June I would like to bring your attention to a few very important dates:

I would also like to bring to your attention a very valuable; but often underutilized summer resource, the Sussex County Library.  http://sussexcountylibrary.org

Don’t have a library card?

If you don’t have a library card, you can apply for one online and pick up your card on your first visit! The County Library is an excellent resource for books, movies, music and much much more.  Even if you cannot get to the library you can get a “digital pass” to access the “eLibrary” for eBooks, audiobooks, downloadable music, online magazines and research databases 24/7.

The local Dorothy Henry Branch in Vernon will be open:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:00am – 5:00pm

Tuesday: 12:00 pm – 5 pm

The library will be offering several activities and events throughout the summer.
