As we approach the Winter Break, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very happy and healthy holiday season! I hope that you will have a chance to relax and enjoy some special times with your children, extended families, and friends. As I have said many times in the past, the long lasting effects of time well spent with family and even more significant, the importance of the time spent with your children will far outlast any laptop, iPod or XBOX.
Just as a reminder, Friday December 21st will be an early dismissal day with students returning to school on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
In the event your child will be absent, or late due to illness, or for any reason, please call the school attendance line 973 – 764 – 2787. This call may be made at any time, but we would appreciate it if it was made before 9:00 am on the day of the absence (973 – 764 – 5590 if you need to speak directly with our nurse, Ms. Muller). If your child is absent and has not been called out of school, an automated call will be made by the school to verify your child’s absence. Please try to make the phone call as per the instructions above, as an email to the teacher or nurse may not be checked prior to the automated process above taking place.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together to ensure the safety of our students.
Wishing you and your family all the very best as we begin to wind down 2018!
