October, 2020

As we move into October with an incredible amount of uncertainty, we are still focusing on and looking forward to a return to normalcy. Nature’s beautiful display of color and the change of seasons reminds us that summer is over and we are into a new; although unconventional school year. That being said, I would like to remind everyone whether learning remotely or in the hybrid platform that all assignments will be graded and students will receive marking period grades. All parents/guardians are encouraged to check assignments or maintain contact with classroom teachers to ensure student attendance and completion of assigned learning activities.

Week of Respect 2020

   October 5th– 9th

The Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (P.K.2010, c.122) requires that the week beginning with the first Monday in October of each year be designated as the Week of Respect in New Jersey. School districts observe this week by providing age-appropriate instruction focusing on preventing/remediating harassment, intimidation, and/or bullying.
