January, 2018

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very happy and healthy New Year! I hope that you had a chance to relax and enjoy some special times with your children, extended families, and friends. As many of us, who are now considered the “aging” generation, can testify to the long lasting effects of time well spent with family and even more significant, the importance of the time spent with your children (The memories will far outlast any laptop, iPod or XBOX).

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

In the event your child will be absent, or late due to illness, or for any reason, please call the school attendance line 973 – 764 – 2787.  This call may be made at any time, but we would appreciate it if it was made before 9:00 a.m. on the day of the absence (if you need to speak directly with our nurse, Ms. Ash, please call 973-764-5590). If your child is absent and has not been called out of school, an automated call will be made by the school to verify your child’s absence.

Please try to make the phone call as per the instructions above, as an email to the teacher, or nurse may not be checked prior to the automated process above taking place.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together to ensure the safety of our students.

Wishing you and your family all the very best as we begin 2018!
