It’s hard to believe that we are moving into November and the close of the first marking period. As daylight savings time ends, we are quickly reminded of the changes coming our way. With our first snow of the season and most trees losing their leaves, we are beginning to realize that the winter season will soon be upon us. That being said I would like to remind everyone of the importance of maintaining up to date contact information in our emergency contact system. This system will again be the main source of information regarding early dismissals, delayed openings, and school closings during the school year.
Due to Election Day, the weekly district virtual day will be moved to Tuesday November 3rd. The Blue Cohort will attend school on Monday, November 2nd and the Gold Cohort on Wednesday, November 4th. Please keep in mind that school will be closed for both virtual and hybrid students on Thursday and Friday; November 5th and 6th for the NJEA Convention.
This year our Book Fair has gone virtual and will be held from November 5th through the 18th.
I would also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and healthy Thanksgiving Holiday. (district closed November 26rd and 27th).
