Keep on Reading! Mr. Joseph taught all Cedar Mountain students the “Keep on Reading” song as part of our Love of Reading Week activities. Here is Mrs. Bross’ class singing together.

Door Decorating: While our Week of Reading was very abbreviated due to the snow days we’ve had, students enjoyed participating in different dress-up days and teachers turned their doors into covers of Dr. Seuss books. We also thank our special reading guests that read to students in our school.

How to ask your child about his or her day at school: Here is a great article suggesting 50 questions you can ask your child about his or her day instead of saying, “How was school?”. There are some really great conversation starters after a long day of school. At dinner tonight, why don’t you ask your child one of them?

PGA Golf coming to your child’s gym class! During the week of March 12 and March 19, we will have a golf pro provide the basics of playing golf to our students. Students will learn the fundamentals of this recreational sport during their gym classes under the direction of Miss Gonnelli. Who knows, Cedar Mountain may have a golf prodigy discovered!

Preschool and Kindergarten Registration: Our Kindergarten and Preschool Registration for the 2018-2019 is OPEN!  You can find the link on the Cedar Mountain and Walnut Ridge site as well as the main page of the VTSD website.
