The purpose of the Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC) to review  preschool program implementation and support transition as children move from  preschool through grade three.

• The ECAC will provide an opportunity for the district and  community stakeholders invested in the education and welfare of preschool-age children to grade 3 to review progress towards full implementation of high-quality programs.

• The ECAC will work collaboratively to review the needs of preschool families and provide meaningful resources and programs based on these needs.

  
  

The ECAC team is an advisory of stakeholders from VTSD and the Vernon community interested in the education and welfare of children in preschool through grade three that is convened by the school district (N.J.A.C.6A:13A-1.2).

• Some of the members include: teachers and parent representatives in preschool to grade three, Discovery Years, Growing & Knowing Academy, Project Self Sufficiency, NORWESCAP, Healthy Kids of Sussex County, Sussex County Library, PAL, SCA
