We are conducting a test of our emergency notification system to ensure that all stakeholders will be notified in the event inclement weather closings, delayed openings, or other emergencies. 🔥 Last week, we celebrated Fire Prevention Week! 🔥
Our local fire departments visited Cedar Mountain, Lounsberry Hollow, Rolling Hills, and Walnut Ridge to share important lessons about fire safety and prevention. 🚒👩🚒
Students learned what to do in case of an emergency, how to create a family escape plan, and why it’s so important to check smoke detectors regularly. They also loved exploring the fire trucks and learning about the gear our firefighters use to keep our community safe! 🚨
A heartfelt thank you to our local fire houses for dedicating their time to educate our students and for the incredible work they do every day to protect us all. ❤️💛

A taste of the future! 🍽️ Our students had an amazing time at today’s Culinary Field Trip to the Culinary Institute at Sussex County Community College. They watched college chefs in action, explored exciting opportunities in the program, and enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by the talented students themselves! 👩🍳👨🍳 #VernonPride #CulinaryArts
