November 2023
Dear Parents/Guardians,
The leaves have mostly all changed and fallen to the ground and there is a briskness in the air. Although many of us do not like to see the warm weather go, it can also be a good time to explore new indoor activities. There is nothing like curling up to a new book with a hot cup of tea or hot chocolate. Board games, puzzles, cards, crafts, and baking can all be fun ways to learn and get some family bonding in along the way!
And now that the weather is getting colder, please remember to send your child in with a jacket for recess and outdoor play.

Looking back at October:
Damon from Ms. Cummin's class has been awarded Art Star for the month of October at Cedar Mountain! Damon has found a genuine love for art and shown such motivation to create while exploring new skills. In this painting, he painted a tree body complete with trunk and branches representing the letter Y while using thick and thin lines. Damon completed his project by painting and stamping his hand to create texture and blend warm colors to show an autumn tree. Congratulations, Damon!
Monster Mile and our Halloween parade were fantastic with so many creative costumes this year!
Sincerely,
Kristin Gudenkauf
