Field Day was a great success. It was great to see the children having so much fun. It was nice having so many parents with us as well.
Please remember that school is closed on Monday, 5/25 - Memorial Day and Tuesday, 5/26 - No school for students (District In-Service for staff).
We will be replenishing our supply of recess equipment on Wednesday so please do not send students to school with balls, bats, gloves, etc. Thanks for your help with this.
Payments for Colonial Day (grade 5) and the Sterling Mine field trip (grade 4) are past due. If you would like your child to attend, please send payment on Wednesday. Either cash, exact change, or check payable to Lounsberry Hollow Activity Account.

Glen Meadow Middle School's 21st Century Community Learning Center summer program registration is open. This is free to all Vernon Township incoming 6th - 8th graders. Please contact Mrs. Kait Ramirez at kramirez@vtsd.com if you have any questions.
Please help us make sure that students are leaving their toys at home. This includes their squishies. We are seeing a great deal of conflict between students over items that should not be at home. It is taking away from our instructional time.
Please be advised that any students who are caught flushing items that don’t belong down the toilet will be removed from our upcoming field trips and end of year activities. Our bathrooms are being intentionally damaged by students throughout the day. Any students who see others damaging our bathrooms should report it to their teachers immediately.
Please remember that students should only be drinking and bringing water into the classroom. Also, students should not be eating or drinking on the bus.
