Please help your child practice or write down their student ID number, as well as their bus letter and bus number, so they have it handy.
Remember that student drop off starts at 7:40 this year. Please keep in mind that dismissal typically takes a bit longer during the first few days of school while everyone gets used to the routine. We appreciate your patience as we ensure every student leaves safely.
If you plan to pick your child up please notify us before 12:00 PM—either by calling the main office or entering the update directly into Genesis. This helps us ensure your child is ready on time and keeps dismissal running smoothly for everyone.

Wednesday, September 9th will be Lounsberry Hollow’s Back to School Night. I will send you a welcome video through this email prior to the event, but please plan on attending, in person, from 6:30 - 8:30. More information to follow on BTSN. We have an exciting opportunity coming up for our 4th and 5th graders! On Friday, September 25th, New York Times best-selling author Suzanne Lang—creator of the popular Grumpy Monkey series—will be visiting our school for a special author and illustrator workshop! Because space is limited, students must submit an application to enter the selection pool. Selection will be based on the students' thoughtful answers. Click on this link to complete the application - Fourth and fifth graders, be sure to submit your application before September 17th for a chance to attend.
Any students interested in signing up for Band or Orchestra for the first time can register at the following link. Returning students and students who are already registered do not need to re-register. Registration closes on Sunday, 9/13.
Health Office - Any medication, including over the counter medications, that needs to be administered during the school day for the 26-27 school year requires a new doctor’s note. Please call the school nurse, Mrs. Brock, if you have any questions at 973-764-4920 or fax to 973-764-0848.
