Dear Class of 2029,
We are excited to welcome you to Vernon Township High School! We are hopeful that you are having a restful and enjoyable summer. We are eager to have you join us in September, and we hope that you are just as eager to be here. Our goal is to make your transition to high school as smooth as possible and help you feel more comfortable while achieving academic success in your first year at VTHS. During your freshman year, you will be immersed in a team-centered environment where your teachers, counselors, and administrators are committed to creating a positive and successful high school experience. You will not only be learning about the various subject areas, but also John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success and the lessons that support his philosophy.
We look forward to meeting you at Freshman Orientation on Monday, August 25, 2025. This year's Orientation will include breakfast and lunch, a guest speaker, multiple activities organized by our current students, prizes, and much more.
Please bring sneakers, a good attitude, and a willingness to participate. The orientation will take place from 9:00 am-1:55 pm. Bus routes will be running for pick-up and drop-off.
