Good afternoon. We have had issues with the YouTube streaming service failing during two of the last five Board of Education meetings. However, the Zoom stream of the Board meetings remained operational during those times. To ensure that viewers can watch the entirety of the meeting without interruptions, we will continue to offer the live stream of the Board meetings via both platforms, but we recommend that you watch the meeting via the Zoom link. VTSD is currently experiencing phone issues with incoming calls. We are working on identifying the the problem and fixing the issue. Please contact your students building secretaries via email for any communication. If you need to call in your child sick you may do so through Genesis under attendance

SAT Testing - October 7, 2023
All students must have an admission ticket ( printed from the College Board website:(Collegeboard.org) and an acceptable photo ID to gain entry to the SAT testing areas on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Any student who does not have their admission ticket printed out and an acceptable photo ID will be turned away and told to register for the next test. Please understand THERE CAN BE NO EXCEPTIONS !!
Plan to arrive at Vernon TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL no later than 7:45 AM. Bring 2 Number 2 pencils and a calculator if you want to use one.
A reminder to freshman attending orientation today to bring your chrome books from last year. You will not receive your new one without it. You do not need to bring your chargers the new ones use the same charger.
Incoming Lounsberry students can tour the building today from 12:00p.m.-1:00pm. Can't make it today? We have another open house on Thursday 8/31. See you there!
Tuesday, August 29th will be the first Share the Keys program of the year at 6pm in the VTHS auditorium. The program is required for all anticipated student drivers.
The Rolling Hills data in the Parent Portal has been fixed. You may now view busing and homeroom information. See the screenshot below for how to find that info. As a reminder, the AM busing information is the same as the PM busing information unless otherwise marked
The issues with genesis have been resolved. The P.M bus route is the same as your child's A.M route. Thank you for your patience!
Schedules for the 2023-2024 school year are now available on the Genesis Parent Portal! Please note all forms will need to be completed for each child in order to view schedules. The forms are only accessible on the Parent Portal. If you need assistance logging into your account, please contact your child's school between 8-3pm
